Gettin' hitched in 2006!

So close...

Due to scheduling conflicts, Alyssa, Lesley and I have been having a heck of time getting together to pick a bridesmaid dress. Seriously, we've been at this since August.

But... we're getting close. Les and I went out on Saturday, to review our top choices and while we were at it, we took some pictures! Now Alyssa just has to pick which ones she likes, try them on, and hopefully she and Les can come to some sort of mutual decision!

Here are some pictures... to the left, is Lesley modelling Raylia's "Georgie" in black satin.

Below and left, is a satin and chiffon Alfred Angelo dress; and on the right, a satin Dessy dress with a black bow. Note -- these were the only colours available in the store, and not necessarily the colours we'd choose!

And here's Les in an Alfred Sung Separates black nu georgette combo with either a short or long skirt.

We have about 3 weeks left before we start to enter the "rush fees" time zone, so hopefully things come together soon :D

  • Yeah, it was funny... we kept trying to hike them up to get the "just below the knee" look, lol. I actually edited the first one to get rid of some extra material that slipped down -- I showed it to a friend beforehand and she was like, "I don't like the style of that one -- the thing hanging down on the side doesn't do it for me." And I said, "Oh, that's that just the hem -- we tucked it up, but it fell back down... it's not actually supposed to look like that" Haha!

  • I like the pink one too... it is very flattering on her.

  • That's funny, cause Les hates pink -- she thinks she can't wear it ;-)

  • The pink one has the cutest shape. I know you were talking about green - I think that would work. I love the third one too - it's hot.

  • Okay, the girls picked a dress and the winner is... Raylia's "Georgie" in black satin!

That's the first one on the top left :)
