Narrowing down the dress choices
Dress shopping on Thursday went well, but we didn't find anything that made us go "wow, that's the one." Although there were plenty that made us laugh, lol.
It seems our first picks are still in the lead, but the store we went to on Thursday didn't carry the same dresses. However, I finally found some pictures!
Keep in mind that "tangerine" is not our colour of choice, but it was the only picture available. Black or green seem to be the current favorites.
We're going to get together again next week, and maybe make a decision :)

Sonja and Becky had a good idea to have the dresses madesince it is a relatively simple pattern and then we could get exactly what we wanted ....

You know Jen, I really like the green dress. From the invitations you've picked and the things we talked about, I think a shorter dress kind of suits you and your wedding. It's just my opinion though and the decision is yours.
Remember: when you get married people have many opinions but it's still your wedding!!!!

I like the green one, too! Unless we find a killer full-length dress, I think we all decided we liked the cocktail length best -- makes sense, it'll be a "cocktail reception" and all ;)
You can't really tell from the picture, but the tangerine dress is actually 3/4 length and we'd likely get it shortened to just below the knee. Les tried it on in black, and it looked awesome!

I agree with the green dress, it just seems to be a more flattering dress for many more body types... not sure what your bridesmaids will look like, but they would probably wear the green one again, which is always a bonus!
