Bridal shows, DJs, and dress shopping
**Oh man... I never posted this. Well, here's a blast from the past, about 3 and a half months past or September 14th to be exact!**
Forget fun; time flies when you're busy! And I know Sonja is likely wondering, "Where the hell is that Bridal Show post she promised?" Well here goes.
Last Friday, Sonja, Alyssa, and I made our way to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre for the Canadian Bridal Show. We were greeted by some of the scariest brides and vendors in history, but managed to enjoy ourselves none-the-less. I got a make-over from M.A.C. -- which was worthy of an El Convento Rico appearance -- and during our wait, Alyssa and I had the pleasure to meet the most interesting bride-to-be, and her equally interesting daughter, this side of Trailer Park Boys.
Meanwhile, Sonja *scored* us front row seats to the fashion show, which turned out to be quite the entertaining highlight of the evening. As Sonja commented, "I bet this is the most action he sees all year," referring to one of the rather exuberant tuxedo models, who I nick...
**Apparently that's where I stopped; not sure where I was going with this one :P**
