Peonies!
I recently booked a florist (a little late in the process, but hey) and decided on the types of flowers we're going to have, namely peonies!Alyssa and Lesley are going to carry 3 peonies each in shades of pink -- something like this picture, but in a hand-tied bouquet format ;-)
My bouquet is going to be a mix of peonies with a few roses, it's going to smell so good!

when i went to a japanese peonies garden, i started calling them japeonies. i was quite pleased with my own cleverness.
